　　5.begin=start  [vt.] 開(kāi)始   the beginning of …的開(kāi)始

　　  e.g.We begin\start the school on Sep. 1st.

　　=The beginning of our school is Sep. 1st

　　6.visit  [vt.] visit sp.\visit sb.參觀某地\拜訪某人

　　  e.g.He visits his grandfather every week. (拜訪)

　　They visit Hai Nan on Sunday.(游玩)

　　7. pass通過(guò)    e.g.He pass the exam.

　　  pass sth to sb把…傳給某人   e.g. Pass the book to me.

　　8.hope\wish 都有希望之意。它們的用法區(qū)別在于：在表達(dá)“希望某人做某事”時(shí)，不可以表示為“hope sb to do sth”而應(yīng)表示為“wish sb to do sth”

　　e.g.我希望你好好的。（×）I hope you to be good.

　　                  （√）I wish you to be good.

　　9.kind of=a little 有幾分；有一點(diǎn)

　　e.g.The picture is a little ugly.=The picture is kind of ugly.

　　翻譯：我有點(diǎn)餓。

　　10.the others與others的區(qū)別。the others是the other的復(fù)數(shù)，指代人或物時(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)有一定的范圍，others則不是。

　　  e.g. There are 40 students in my class,21 are girls, the others are boys.

　　     Over there, some people are reading, some are talking , others are lying on the grass.

　　  11.give sb. sth.=give sth. to sb.把…給某人（雙賓語(yǔ)）

　　  e.g. She gives me an apple.=She gives an apple to me.

　　__________________=______________________.請(qǐng)把那個(gè)東西給我。

　　13.teach 教授（接雙賓語(yǔ)）即：teach sb sth

　　  e.g. As a teacher , he teaches me (learning) English.

　　14.wait [vi.] 等   等待…必須用做wait for…

　　  e.g. —What is he waiting for? —He is waiting for her coming back.

　　15.take activity參加活動(dòng)

　　  He takes activity sometimes in the school.

　　16.pretty 相當(dāng)?shù)豙adv.]用以修飾形容詞 如：相當(dāng)可怕pretty terrible

　　★each的用法。記住幾個(gè)句子：

　　1.Each brings a bag to the school.(在此each作為主語(yǔ)，表示“每個(gè)人”)

　　2.Each of them is\are student(s).(在此動(dòng)詞可用單數(shù)也可以用復(fù)數(shù))

　　3.We each have a good friend.(在此動(dòng)詞形式根據(jù)主語(yǔ)判斷)

　　4.Each woman has a lovely daughter.(在此each為形容詞，修飾主語(yǔ))
